im not sure how to upload a program from r232
witch mode I have to be in?
then what do I do to read the r232 input
is the mode selector to be on the rs232c or edit?

got it, I had t be in edit, then (softkey)prog. then type in O0003 then (soft key) IN
Now how do I change the controller to metric?
manual says its perm.#6636-6638. What value do I enter?

To change from inch to metric, or metric to inch, change 6001 bit 0
