Shoptask Elderodo, CNC 3+2 axis (5 Axis), with some Lathe and Mill tooling for sale!

Shoptask Elderodo, CNC 3+2 axis (5 Axis), with some Lathe and Mill tooling for Sale!.

$4,000 dollars cash, (US dollars), firm.
You arrange (and pay) for: pickup, packaging, loading, and shipping.

This is the FIRST CNC retrofit, I ever did, back in 2000, it is currently running Mach3.
The electrical cabinet is "Home built" from wood and aluminum,
it looks home built, but was built for function.
    It runs two "Parallel" ports.
I will throw in USB Smooth stepper for 50 bucks more, but YOU have to integrate/tune it.
Runs on 220VAC (dryer style plug).

    What is included:

TWO Upgraded Spindle drives and motors, 2hp DC Lesson drives controlled via Mach3,
(one motor/drive for the mill, and one motor/drive for lathe).
5(Five), Gecko 320 drives (for up to 5 axis), plus Moog DC servos (5)
2(Two), Six inch, CNC rotary tables that can be bolted together to make a 4th/5th axis trunion table, (two 4th axis tables)
Timken, Abec 7 bearings for both mill and lathe spindles
    C-5 Ball screws (cold rolled).
Automation Direct DL06 for controlling the Mill and Lathe spindle control
    Flood Coolant System
Selection of common lathe tooling to include indexable tools
    Selection of common Mill tooling
R-8 Tool holders with Holder rack, multiple sizes fits all the mill tooling above
    Steady Rest for the Lathe
Tail Stock, with Live center selection
    Six inch Mill Vise
    IH (Industrial Hobbies), Limits
Adjustable Hard Limit stops for the "Lathe" on the Z axis (X for the mill)
3 (Three) axis DRO (Shumate kit), (is off the machine but is available if you want it).

Here is some pics of the machine that I had put up a while back on the CNC zone:
    http://www.cnczone.com/forums/shopma...task-pics.html
There are others of it under "Member gallery" under poppabear10.

    Why selling you ask?
Simple, I need the room for another larger machine tool and have run out of room.

Truly, this machine is a Great "Starter" machine to get into the CNC world.
I would classify it as "Light Industrial", it can hold about 0.001" within a 6" cube work envelope,
and about 0.003" within a foot.
if you live close enough, you can come over and look at it, and see it run/move, I will need
advance notice when you plan to come for my work schedule.

Please serious inquiries only, contact me via email at:
I am in the "East, Tennessee area of the USA", close to Knoxville.

Hi Scott, I’ve got the same model as you had and I’m in the SLOW (due to covid) process of converting it to CNC with modern components.

I’m curious what advice you could give me on upgrades for the machine, knowing what you know now.

    Thanks,
    Kevin
