    VFD settings

    I am building a cnc with a 2.2kw VFD. I am controlling it with a relay on by breakout board through Mach 3. I cant get the spindle to come on. My Question is,
    1. What should PD001 and PD002 be set at
    2. how does the VFD hook up to the breakout board properly.
    3. How to set it up in mach.
    I have tried different things but just cant get it to work. I can however get it to spin wile PD001 is set to 0. Any advise would be helpful.

    For external control PD001=1 0 is for the Keypad control

    PD001=1
    PD002=0

    Do you have the PWM working on your Breakout Board, you need a 0-10v from this output

    hello,

    1st, your relay goes on off, will you applying the rpm from the knob,, u need another connection to send rpm frequncy to your vfd, and this could be done in different ways

    0-10v
    modbus
    some accept high speed pulse input,
