Hi there,

Just got an old Monforts Unicen 500 installed at work with sinumerik 840d controll.
I also got a bunch of manuals on a usb stick with the machine, it also contains numerous manuals regarding shopturn but i cann't seem to find out if this is installed on the controll.
Is shopturn a option or is this a standard part of the controller??
Same question regarding autoturn, standard or option.
My first siemens cobtrolled machine so everything is a bit confusing at the moment.

have you gotten any answers to your questions from others, or in private e-mail.
I have almost the same question about just ShopTurn is an option, and if you can buy or copy it from someone.
My lathe is an Emco Concept Turn 155 with driven tool and even a C-axle.

I was in contact with Siemens in Sweden and it is an option but it can be in your machine but may not be enabled.
If it is missing, it costs about 700 USD. If it exists, and only needed to be activated, it can be solved in 2 different ways.
Either over the phone or to service staff visit you.
Call Siemens support and ask what applies to you.
