My client is a division of a Fortune 200 corporation located in suburban Chicago. They are a manufacturer of fabricated sheet metal products (consumer and professional) sold to the construction industry. They have an immediate need for an Automation Specialist. Primary responsibilities of this position are to set up, be the go-to person, and provide training of operators of automated/robotic fabrication equipment and to optimize equipment utilization. The person selected is responsible for the on-the-job training and classroom training for operators and maintenance associates in the programming, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of the automated/robotic equipment. Any experience with Salvagnini equipment is preferred.
