    Will the Tormach lathe/PP do constant surface speed ?

    Would like to know if the lathe will do constant ....or somewhat constant surface speed. such as when facing,
    starting at the large dia and spindle accelerating as the cutting diameter decreases.

    Absolutely.
    Even some of the early Tormach videos show it doing this. Also check out NYCCNC and GRIMSMO on Youtube.
    They have some great videos showing it in some of it's paces.

    Short answer: yup. Not only that but you program a 'D' parameter for max RPM, so it'll do CSS up that RPM.
