    Multus ???

Okay been a while guys, moving from Captain to Multus. (New job). Can someone paste a copy of the preparatory functions for this monster, I spent a few hours Saturday messing with it, but naught. Just basic turning; I get alarms for Y axis not ready, B axis not ready all kinds of stupid ****. Example of a basic code string that will not work.

    Re: Multus ???

alarms are normal for the Multus (or actually for anyone coming from non-Okuma background or older Okumas to newer Okumas). The alarm book is nearly 2" thick.

this is a working example of the beginning of a program.
it could depend on what options your machine has. there are lots and lots of M and G codes that need to be there otherwise no-go

    Re: Multus ???

Thanks Dave I hope that a lot of that is just redundancies for my sake, like M110 and M109 why lock C and then unlock it? Like I said hopefully redundancies. Do all the "Variable statements" NEED to be there? What is TG? and MT? Guessing something to do with staging tools?

    TG is for tool managment
TL=001001 is tool 1 on a 500 offset machine if you have 96 offsets this will be TL=010101
