    Work Offset Distance Viewing

Hi All, My machine is a Kitamura Mycenter 2, with Fanuc OM-B controls.

    I have an issue/question with work offsets. I have 6 offsets, 00, 01, 02, etc to 05.

From what Ive been told, there is not access to G53, instead it would be G92 instead. I dont like this system. I have another machine running Mach3, and it will show me a comparison of the machine coordinates, and the offset amount from those coordinates.

So heres my main question. Most of my parts are programmed to origin X0, Y0, Z0. If I go into the work offsets page, most of the offsets still read, 0, 0, 0. If I jog down to my work, and in Offset 01 (G55), I will type in X2.0, Y2.0, Z2.0, then type back in X0.0, Y0.0, Z0.0 just to make sure that the "machine coordinates offset" is actually changed in the system memory. Since this is the OM-B controls, is there a way to actually see the offset amounts from machine "0". Ive heard there are variables or parameters that say "g54 X is #### from G28 X0.0"

    Thanks in advance!!

Does this control show MEASUR soft key? It makes life really simple.

the easiest way to set the workshift is move the tool to X0 then type X0 and press [MEASURE] button. move other axes and repeat (Y0 MEASURE, Z0 MEASURE)
for basic setting, that's all you need to do.

if you don't have MEASURE function, you can set it the old way (like 6M)
first zero return machine and manually zero all axes.
    now press POSITION button.
Move axes to your work zero.
    Number on readout is your G92 X Y Z
Copy that into the program and you're set.

I don't have the measure function. And I don't like the idea of g92, especially with multiple fixtures. I need to know what data g54, g55, etc are setting in the memory, so I can verify that changing from one fixture to another is actually being set in memory, short of doing a G54G00Z0X0Y0.
