I'm trying to resurrect a Heian ZR-431 1996 single-table Heian cnc router. Today is January, 2016. This machine was sitting without power for 10 years. I have no tooling, no software. The machine was thoroughly cleaned-up, carefully inspected, leveled and lubricated, and finally energized. The control circuitry powered without issues. Two of the three Toshiba VFA5-2055P Inverters had displays, the third had no display. The machine console gave the "Ready" light. I moved it x,y, and z with no issues. The machine actually zeroed!! I got "home" lights for each axis. Apparently, that battery held the parameters for 10 years. Removed the VFD Inverter drives and replaced the electrolytic capacitors. Two drives had displays afterwards, but one still down. I'm looking for a replacement VFD. Anybody have this same machine and care to collaborate on its use and care?
