    MV-65 Coordinate parameter

We have a Mori Seiki MV-65 (SN 262) with a 10M control that just recently had the parameters restored. Everything performs fine with the exception of the reset button. If the reset button is pressed this machine seems to lose its position. The position the machine is reset is the new zero. Example:

If the "distance to go" reads X 5.500 inches, and the control is reset, you can move the machine to any postion recall the G54 work offset and it will still say "Distance to Go" X 5.500 inches. The only way to resolve is to home the machine after each reset.

Before the parameters were reloaded the reset would only reset the program not the coordinates.

I'm sure it is a parameter setting. Any input will be appreciated. I have talked to Mori and Fanuc extensively on the issue.

    Re: MV-65 Coordinate parameter

    Hello ,
I'm having the same problems with our MV-55 Mori Seiki with the same 10M control. Have you found any resolution to this issue? I've tried everything I can think of, and nothing seems to change the result.
    Thank ,
    Frank
