Question Mastercam X9 4th axis problem

    Hello for everyone,

I have a probelm using mastercam x9 with 4th axis... The problem is that I have cut asymmetric part, and when I generate a toolpath bit cuts off one small part out of the whole part.. It will be simple if mastercam also use Z axis to control the height of the bit, but it don't.. In order to better understand what I can't do, I'm adding mastercam file and some photos.

    Thanks, Edgaras.

Change the Axis Dampening Length to 30. this will fix it.

    Try using "use center point".

JCSB, did you notice doing that the the shape you are showing is not correct. As I saw he did not check that option. But based on the shape and the orientation of the part this would not let it complete the undercut at the top.

I see what your talking about and no I didn't. I must admit that I did it very quickly without noticing that. I just saw that it appeared to be similar but see under closer review it isn't.
