We are looking for our client, internationally growing company, a service technician who will carry the burden of maintenance, upgrades and training equipment to customers. This strategic position has many challenges!

Responsibilities for the job:

• Perform On-site repairs for GVT machines
• Perform tune-up service on GVT machines
• Perform install and training on GVT machines with graphic based software.
• Order parts for repairs
• Set schedule that is efficient
• Communicate with sales team on possible issues at a customer
• Communicate with the sales team to provide leads for possible sales opportunities
• Cover a large geographical territory. Entire country of Canada.
• Complete weekly paperwork with a high level of detail
• Communicate with management with regard to difficult customer situations
• Up to 80% travel
• Overtime required on a regular basis. Average 5 hours per week.

Who we are looking for
Skills requested:
• Must be bilingual- French and English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook especially)
• Proven strong communication and follow-up abilities.
• Good customer skills
• Mechanically skilled
• Basic knowledge of electronics
• Basic knowledge of electrical theory
• Proficient with graphics based software
• Organized
• Good time management skills
• Territory management skills
• Good driving record
• Ability to be away from home for multiple nights up to an entire week
