Recently purchased a late '90's model lathe with an after market USB port added on. I can send and receive files to and from the port just fine but when i put the flash drive on a PC i cant see the files that were transfered to it. It works the same as the old floppy drives used to. Is there something im missing.

Late 90s? ... Try formatting the jumpdrive as a FAT instead of an NTFS (find that in the Format options)

If it is a floppy emulator. You need a program to format the flash drive to 1.4 mb. You may be able to do it with the machine.

The pathway isnt direct it is .....[ C:/program files/ emulator/ drive ¿letter?/ partition ¿number?/open] You cant go directly to the drive letter.
