Mach3 and external PCI parallel card?

    Dear All,

I'm using DFI Lanparty Ultra-D motherboard and unfortunately it hasn't got a parallel lpt port. So i bought a Netmos chipped lpt card. It is installed properly and it can be used while printing. But i couldn't setup Mach3 to drive my boards. I'm checking port number from Device Manager and it seems 0xAC00-0xAC07
So does someone use these cards and succeed?

I had a similar problem when I added a PCI parallel card to my ASUS machine for a second port. I work for some time installing, reinstalling reconfiguring etc. with no success. Swapped the card for one from a different manufacturer and it worked first try.

Also you make sure and install the driver for the new card. Without it, the new port will not function as designed.

    pci parallel port address error

    dear all,
i am also facing a similar problem.

steps followed to connect mac3 sw to run micro mill mc.

1)added pci parallel card & installed driver software bought from zippys.

2)done driver test as instructed in mach3 manual...works fine

3)tried all possibilities like 0xE010,0xE017,010,Ex010 etc in mach3 sw .nothing seems to work.

[i/o range at device manager shows E010-E017]
why is this hexadecimal values not getting accepted

will it only work in 0x378(default) address range.

    need a solution
