    fanuc 160i ncboot32 error

I have a fast ethernet card supplied by the OEM and some files they told me to load from the NCBOOT32 in maintenance mode (switch set to 0). I can not load the files but get an error instead.

Example file to load is 6567l.mem when I select load I get

    INTERNAL ERROR
    CNC couldn't execute the command

    Function: 106
    Status: 2
    Error: 3

    Re: fanuc 160i ncboot32 error

Click on "About" and press the "S" key, you should see the pop up, System mode or something like that. That will enable software files to be edited. Though newer FANUC CPUs require a special card in order to load or remove software. A card only FANUC engineers have. Also, when software is saved, it is removed from the control, making the control useless until it is loaded back in.
