Hi,

We received Okuma Macturn 30 today. Machine is missing M-tool spindle cartridge completely. Machine came originally from Iscar Israel to Machinery network. Then after few more dealers we received it. Now I am trying to locate where M-.tool spindle might be. All help is welcome. And before someone suggest we already quoted from Okuma dealer and new spindle unit is 25 000 usd..

there was a parts- only machine (edit) on machine tools.com
complete machine for less than that price.

Hi,

Lets put it this way: This one is that parts machine, it has serial number 80 not 63. And it is missing milling spindle.

Oh that's right. I should have been thinking 023 or 080. My bad. I've done a few parts on it. Pretty solid machine. Control is picky and have some issues from unforgivably bad maintenance.
I viewed 023 macturn. I was pretty rough. Maybe if you could find were that one ended up you could see if they are parting it out.

This is our second Macturn 30. We bought first one 2 years ago from Canada. it has serial no 16 and OSP-7000L control. It has been running 8 hours every day since we got it. I will try to find a contact at Iscar who might know if they still have these parts. Number 23 is still at Gray Machinery we bought ours from them. They wont part it.

Your Machine serial no? Does it have OSP-U100 or OSP-7000 Control?
