    60w China Laser will engrave but not cut.

    So I just got my machine and I can't get it to cut but it will engrave. I am using RDWorks to send the job to the laser. I created a box, and then set the laser to 10mm/sec and 60% power. When I run the Job, it goes through the movement but the laser does not turn on. If I load a jpg and go to scan/engrave, the laser turns on and engraves.

    Strange. Is it in the RDWORKS software or the software on the machine?

    There is another thread that just resolved today with issues from RDcam to laser. It should have plenty of steps to look at. Since a bunch of us just went through things there, it seems redundant to post it here. Look in the today's posts and you should see it (as of today at least).
    In case anyone is wondering, I'm the twin of the other gfacer on cnczone...
