Hi there, long time user and little poster. I built my first table about 5-6 years ago and while it works "decent" I have always wanted better. I have learned A LOT about what I want from a machine over the years.
I am currently using the Candcnc bladerunner and just did the full field upgrade to the latest and greatest.
The new machine will consist of a full 80/20 frame with a welded steel water table and aluminum holding taking for a bladder system
I am using lm76 speed demon rails for the sides.
i designed the gantry risers and had them water jeted.
cncrouterparts rack and pinon.
cncrouterparts slides for the Y axis
Velox Z axis ( I had this one the old machine and will bring it over )
optical sensors for home.
ohm sensing for the torch.
here is where I am standing now, the table is not 100% done I am waiting on some more framing to show up later this week.
I hope to have the rack and pinion fully welded up and installed by this weekend with the rest of the table.
