Post Chinese 4 axis router 4th axis configuration

    hi
is there anyone that can help me. I have one of these chinese cnc routers that I bought of ebay. It came with a 4th axis lathe type chuck attachment. I have successfully used the 3 axis to machine several items, that i am quite pleased with. However I want to use the 4th axis chuck but am unable to get it to function. I use Mach 3 mill and also have Mach 3 turn programs which is run on a PC using windows XP, but cannot see how to configure the 4th axis to work. The 4th axis chuck has a separate wire that connects to an additional DIN type 5 pin socket on the Dongdadk control box. Any help to configure this 4th axis would be appreciated. I do not necessarily want it to turn continuously like a lathe, but to step round so that the Z and X axis can be used to cut a profile.
    Many thanks

Those things work in mill profiles, not lathe (to save you wasting time trying to get the lathe side going).

Does the A axis appear in the main window alongside XYZ in the mill profile? Does it reset and try to go to zero in the DRO?

Can you get the A axis moving in the MDI panel with a "g00 A300" command?
