Hi fellas
Avid fan of these forums and just learning the 3d part of mastercam,
I have hopefully managed to draw a 3d part and surface it and attach it for any of you to help me with it.
I need to machine the surfaces...can anyone help me?

First thing you need to do is fill any "holes" with a surface.
Use Create, Surface, Trim Extended, Flat Boundry to create a surface that fills the center "hole".
Your tool will try to machine ANY "holes" that you would see from the spindle axis (Z).
There are many different approaches to do what you want.
Attached is a VERY SIMPLE example.
Please, do NOT try to machine what I sent.

G'day Dave,
Many thanks for taking the time to answer, your solution was spot on!
I had finished the part a day earlier than your answer....by drawing the bloody toolpath all around it (about 2 hours)
So you have sorted out that one for me...thank's again...till next time
