    Bridgeport Series II servo sizing?

I have the chance to grab a Series II CNC for change. The control has been pretty much gutted and I think the motors are gone too, unfortionately.

Has anyone done a retrofit on one of these machines? As I understand, B-port used bigger motors on these than the more common Series I CNC's, but they also tended to oversize the hell out of the motors too so I'm not sure I really need to go full strength.

    Ideas?

I have a R2E3 Series II that up and runs when it wants. The servos are 28 inch pounds (3.2 nm converted to sae) I will be retrofitting it with an Ajax control. but will be using the original servos. Yes, they are heavy duty but you need the power to control the machines 1000# table load capacity.
What is the model of your machine?
