    Mesa 7i76 Breakout Board & GM215 Driver

I am confused as to how I should wire up my Mesa breakout board and GM215 motor driver. The manual has a list of pinouts indicating where each wire goes, but a blogger has a wiring for the board (that he says works) that doesn't follow the manual diagram.

Another problem -- the fault light on the stepper driver keeps on blinking. Is there a way to stop it?

I don't know what to do. Which one should I follow? How do I stop the light?

Since the GM215 has active high step and direction inputs, you wire the GM215's
step and direction signals to the 7I76's STEP+ and DIR+ signals and the GM215's
common pin to the 7I76's ground pin for example for Axis 0:
    Code:
    7I76 TB2 GM215 CN2

    1 GND 4 COMMON
    2 DNC
    3 STEP0+ 3 STEP
    4 DNC
    5 DIR0+ 2 DIR
    6 DNC

    DNC= Do Not Connect

    Thanks a ton.

I'm getting a solid red light near trim4 on my GM215 when I'm using linuxcnc. Do you know how to reset it or how I should adjust it on linuxcnc? Are there any forums entries on here that talk about it?

Thanks for the tips folks. I have it connected that way, but the driver is still giving me trouble. Is there some way to resolve it in software? The green light on it used to blink but now there's a solid red light by trim4 and I don't know what this means.

Not sure what it means either, If have SW1 "ON" (step/dir mode) and you still get a red light,
I would contact Gecko as there doesn't seem to be any mention of status LEDS in their manual

Also as a general rule when doing initial testing, I would set the step/dir timings much wider
    than the driver's minimums (say 5000,5000,5000,5000 for steplen,stepspace, dir-setup and dir-hold)
