Mazak QT-15 servo lag excess x axis

    Hi everybody!
I'm new to this forum and a newbie in CNC machining.
We just bought a used Quick turn 15 1988 with Mazatrol CAM T-2 controller and I can't make move the X axis. As soon as I touch the joystick to manually operate the X axis I'm getting this message: sevo lag excess x axis. Then after I can't do nothing until I clear this message by shutting OFF and back ON the controller.

Here is what I did to evaluate what's wrong:
I verified if the ball screw is not jammed in the ball nut by unscrewing the servo motor and turning it manually. Result: I can easily make moves the axis.

What else could be verified to understand what's wrong and how should I do to achieve it.

Thank you so much in advance for your valued experience and knowledge.

P.S.: sorry for my english writting, I'm a french canadian...

    Hi from Slovenia,
When you get the alarm look at the axis servo TRA 31 or TRA 41 what you can see at the vertikal red led.

    Best regards

Also today I got a different alarm when I tried to move the x axis with the joystik : 13 x drive alarm!

One of your IGBT is demaged.
You must repair the servo MR-S1...

    Dear Stan,
    Thanks for your answer.

Do you mean these components (see attached picture) must be changed?

    Thanks

I had the same problem in a VQC M32, the problem was X axis encoder failure., , So i had to replace the defective encoder.
