    903 Alarm-P SVP ERROR 3888400 Okuma Help!

    Hello Everybody..

This week I scheduled a repair on my machine OKUMA lb15IIM, Took off the machine enclosure,
took of the chuck, Hydraulic actuator off it was vibrating... etc.. I also sent the VGA monitor for repair. Machine was turned off 4-5 days.

When I turned on the machine after mounting everything back all ok.
Machined turned on, it booted correctly and I got an Alarm, I cant remember correctly.
When I turned the machine back on I got the following alarm while booting up..

    903 Alarm-P SVP ERROR 3888400

Also I noticed that the Hydraulic motor didnt turn on.
I also checked all incoming power lines. All OK.
anybody know what this might be?
I read online that maybe the Svp board is damaged, but how could this be? Somebody know Where this board is located?
    Thanks!

SVP errors are typically communication errors. If you took the monitor out, it's probably not communicating with the system. Check your connections. You will not get hydraulics to come on until the machine has successfully booted. Fans and lights only since they are running on the 110 circuit, rather than the 3 phase hyd. circuit.

    Best regards,

    @Okumawiz I think I found the culprit??

Servo axis drive /SVCII Board Type A (E4809-770-065-A) A cap (270uf 25v) has leaked and shortened a 7915 voltage regulator, the leak..on its way seems as if it also damaged another cap (39uf25) I'll try to replace it and let you know.
I'll post a picture later on.

@Okumawiz here are the pics of the damaged 7915/ and Leaked cap.Cleaned board,Tried changing the components, but didnt work. Instead of loosing more time decided Getting an exchange servo axis top board,it'll be here next Thursday, and i'll let you know if it worked. I don't know why its not possible with okuma boards to just change the damage components and get the Pcbs to work, there must be some time of circuit or chip which acts as a fuse, which i'm missing. Second time this year though that one of these boards get demaged.

    I got a svp903 on my 7000L control a couple years ago.
i did the exchange with local factory authorized outfit.
it was expensive and my tech said the svp board that cam out was not original.
    guess they blow regularly(?)

@mkd I hope its not the SVP board, i guess it would be a big coincidence that the servo axis board has two or more visually damaged components and that the Svp Board also got damaged I will have to wait until next Thursday until the replacement for the servo axis arrives.

@okumawiz I just got a new Servo axis board, changed it..and Still have the same problems, same alarm, 903 Alarm-p svp error. Im wondering what the 3888400 Alarm might mean.

    Update:
** Uploaded a Video from the machine booting up
    https://youtu.be/kl6jFQ9rvrI

*** Checked the Alarm book from Okuma
    903 alarm P means:
The control software such as that for for NC has detectes a system alarm signal sent from the SVP hardware. For details , refer to the specification for the NC control software or the mounted SVP version.

But I dont know how to interpret this. Does anybody know what ERROR 3888400 means?
    thanks in advance..

Well, problem solved. Bought an Svp board directy from Okuma, they are pretty expensive.
they couldnt tell me yet what has caused this. I´ve had some power outages lately, maybe this caused this??,

    thanks!
