    Which CNC brand?

Im into wood working. I do a lot of speaker boxes, speaker rings. Im gona be using mdf, birch, plastic, plexi and some aluminum. Im looking for a 3 axis, 4' x 8' with vacuum table and an automatic tool changer(5-9) tools. My budget is around $40k. Current brands im looking at are Camaster and Shop Sabre. Camaster is 6hrs from me,but I heard they are going out of business and maybe hard to get parts for them. Which one would benefit me the most? It wont be ran all day every day, but it will be ran quite a bit. Thanks Jared

I doubt cam master is going out of business, but always good to check no doubt. Parts are pretty standardized, so support should be OK anyways and spare parts easy enough to find, maybe get specific cam master stuff (pinions, for example) if you are worried.

Thanks, sounds like both are great machines and both are around the same price. Ive talked to one or two people with a Shop Sabre but havnt had a chance to talk to anyone that owns a Camaster.

I doubt it as well. Who told you that?

I know of a LOT more Camaster owners and machines than I do Shop Sabres. Camaster also has a very active user's forum.

One of the salesman I talked to at a local distributor told me they were. But I think he was just telling me a bunch of junk because I didn't wana spend over $100,000 like he wanted me to

I second your notion that spending over $100k for what you are looking for is too high.
