    repurpose Fanuc Paint robot

    We've got an interesting problem.

We are transferring potentially explosive packages onto a conveyor for x-ray. Can't use any form of electromagnetic acquisition/gripping so we've devised a slide that slips under and moves package onto belt. Up till now we've done this with cameras and joystick but recently came into possession of the PERFECT robot - a 20 year old painting Fanuc.

Slip 'n Slide works perfectly but Fanuc has been worse than worthless in getting us prints, schematics, spec sheets etc.

"We currently do not have any representatives in that area of the mideast"

    Any resources out there?
