Ive read through the instructions on how to mount these. They seem to need some pretty specialized stuff and very careful planning.
So the servo is mounted vertically in a jig on a mill/ drill press, the shaft is centered below the chuck/ collet. Then holes are drilled and tapped .75" from the center on either side, correct?
These screws used are 0-80 UNF? Can any other, more common sizes be used? I remember reading that 4-40 were being used as well. then the centering tool is used to center the base of the encoder before the screws are tightened, correct?

But it seems even the slightest slip-up can ruin the whole process. Is everyone going through the steps as outlined in the directions?
I just practiced on a piece of aluminum and was off by a hair, which would have ruined the servo.
Any advice, tips or tricks?
