Hello experts,
This is my first post. I'm really newbie. I bought new 1.5kw Huanyang VFD and 1.5kw air cooled square spindle. Basic parameter settings done and spindle starts to work normally then I recognize very strange problem that spindle rotating wrong direction usually even I have switched U.V.W one by one. When I press RUN, spindle sometimes goes right way FOR but when I press RUN again after STOP it goes REV (no mach3 control plugin).REV button on the front panel sometimes works sometimes not. The spindle is automatic REV itself randomly in high speed, low speed, middle speed, it looks like VFD is out of control spindle or VFD getting problem or some wrong setting?! I wasted all day to figure it out but no luck. Could you help me figure it out please?

You have some Parameters set wrong Set PD023=0 this should stop the spindle reversing, you may have other Parameters set wrong as well, if this Parameter is set at zero then you may have a VFD problem, or a wiring problem

Thank you expert for quick reply. I have tried PD023 = 0, PD045 = 00 but no luck, reverse randomly. VFD may be faulty. I gotta contact seller, if you have more idea, please advise me. Thanks again

Finally got it done, this spindle has 5 pins, so I got little confusion. Thx a lot mactec54
