    American CNC 1340

Can anyone comment on American CNC Corporation 1340 lathe? Using Dynapath Delta CNC. Obviously it is pretty bare, and practically a manual machine. The lack of tooling is not really an issue.

    Questions:
    - can it connect to a PC?
    - is there any software still available that will talk to this? Can the program development be done off the machine(saving of programs, program transfer, would I need to find a 15 year old PC)?

    Thank you for comments.

    Re: American CNC 1340

Looking around a bit more. The machine is basically a Republic Lagun 1340 machine. Dynapath is also still around, so I've beamed a note off to them. Anyone with experience on either of these?
