Thanks for those. I've saved a copy, and had a quick look.
I'll admit I've never dealt with macro's before, so I'll have to do a bit research on what would be possible without resorting to C. I can see pros and cons of both methods, so I'll just let the ideas rattle around my head until I've got some time to sit down and try them.

Once I get that far, I'll start a separate thread. That way this thread can get back to showing pictures of your shiny control panel.

Well I got the operator panel put together and operational at the end of last week during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and just in time for a few runs of parts I needed to make. So here are the pictures of the last step to get it working.

Even with close to 200 total wire connections to make I didn't have any misplaced wires. I do have an unidentified problem with my Ethernet cable but I am fairly certain it is a broken wire as it makes connection and lights up the switch no communication is happening. The industrial ethernet cable I used in the main electrical cabinet was very fine gauge and hard to solder, it didn't want to tin. So I still need to dig into that and get it fixed. For now I ran a separate cable outside of the umbilical cord.
