    Matsuura, lost computer and need to reconnect?

    Newbe here.

    Thanks for any help that you can give ahead of time. We lost the computer that was hooked to your matsuura, and now we have a new one, but we can't get it to communicate. Any help on the setup? baud rate, data bits, parity, stop bits,ect... The machine is a Matsuura mc-500v and the box on the side is has M5G on it.

    On My EM 500 1982 with 3000G and CRT
    In tape box look for rotating switch and select 1 then go to control parameters and select parameter 59 change X to 3 and Z to 13774 that will be 1200 baud rate recommended
    Return switch back to zero
    The RS 232 is different than most. It simple on on 25 pin (in tape box) connect three wires to 15 16 19 and the other wires to a 9 pin female to your PC pin 2 3 5
    15 goes to 2 (send from CNC)
    16 goes to 3 (send from PC)
    19 goes to 5 (ground)
    I also have all parameters i got to scan them
