    Table too small for project

I wish to cut a project that is larger than my machine. I can do it if I cut my stock in half, which I really do not want to do. I can cut half the project and then then move my stock forward on the machine and cut the other half of my project. Is this possible, do I have to creat two Gcode programmes creating different points or can I pause the cutting move the stock and continue cutting.

Any assistance would be really appreciated.

    Regards, Chris

I would also have the first program drill guide holes to locate the part accurately for the second cut. It is not unlike doing 2-sided milling.

Thank you Bob. I was going to to create two programmes but what you are suggesting makes sense. I shall have a bit of a read on two sided milling. Regards Chris
