Hi,
I have started a CNC router build and would appreciate advice on sources of rolled ball screws for the X and Y. Both about 4 feet long. Want to use rolled screws to keep cost down.

When I converted my mill/drill back around 2000, I used Roton screws. Back then, got what I thought was a good price and service, A few years ago, somehow I messed up a ballnut and called to see if I could get a replacement and not only did I get the replacement, but talked to the SAME person on the phone!

The accuracy is good enough for the stuff I do.

By the way, each time I have used them, the packaging was excellent and I never received a bent screw which is something I have seen complaints about from overseas shipments.

I have found that if you want an all around axis package, (screw, nut, blocks, etc.) then aliexpress has the best deals. Otherwise, even on Ebay, you will be nickel and dimed over the little pieces.
