HPR130. THC will not auto adjust to material height.

Torch will move up, but only because when it touches the material it does so to avoid collision. The THC use to auto adjust to stay at the proper cutting height.
Unfortunately, I do not know when this problem started, as I am not the only operator of this table. And nobody else even noticed that there was an issue.

If an other information is needed, I will provide if I can.

    thanks, Phillip.

Phillip, The HPR130 is a high definition plasma cutter from Hypertherm......there are a lot of different height controls and cnc controls that are used with these cutters in the field. If you can provide info on the cutting machine manufacturer...the make and model of the cnc control, and any info on the height control system...then I can steer you in the right direction for assistance.

    Everything was purchased through Vicon
The height control is Hypertherm which is patched through to a desktop computer using Vicon software.
Its also a manual gas setup. I don't think thats relevant.
The make and model I'll have to double check when I get back to work.

    Thanks.

Activation of the arc voltage feedback height control is done through the Vicon software. It could be that an operator has put the height control in "manual" mode.....or that there may be an issue with an output that is holding the height in freeze....as it does automatically in corners and during slowdown. I would contact tech support at Vicon for help.
