Hi

So my cnc will be running on rack and pignon direct drive over the Y axis with 2 nema23 KL23H2100-50-4B 570oz 2 phase, rated volt 3v, current 5A, resistance/phase 0.6/ 2.5mH

I plan on using a Ethernet Smoothstepper at 48V power. And I will move about a 28lbs at max (2.2kw spindle,mount, zmotor, xmotor,x 8040, 2 rail, 1 gearrack and the 2 gantry.

The question is which stepper driver can match these ?

I know I'm supposed to get about x25 time the rated voltage of the Nema and have a driver with a 10% overhead on the amp.

And between a 300khz and a 200khz, that is more standard. Is a 300khz driver could be a better choice to start with ?

It's supposed to give higher rpm ... or at least at 300khz run over higher micro stepping, that might give better resolution..?

Option: like some Leadshine MA860, a DMA860H at 300khz or just a AM882 or EM705.. at 200khz.

*And for the X axis over the gearrack, perhaps a 425oz with a M752 75v 5.2a typ:48v 300khz

Thanks
