Hello,

I have a question related to running the 2d profile function on a curve. I think I know the answer but just would like confirmation from this group. Does the 2.5D profile option that you select on the curve have the ability to recognize other features below that initial curve or it appears it just cuts to the depth listed around that particular curve?

I wound up putting a curve in place for a region so I could sequence this path later, using Z level Finishing, as opposed to letting it build it together with another area, doing a Roughing path, since I am using the same cutter for different sequences.

The Profiling toolpath will follow the curve only.

Did I understand the question correctly?
