We thought we'd share some of our recent "Design and Make" How-to CNC projects with the forum community. Let us know what you'd like to see next (or less of) and anything else that might make these more useful or interesting for you.
The first project I'll share is a 3D Sculpted solid-body Electric Guitar. We teamed up with Jeff Strater @ Autodesk Fusion 360 to design and make this Guitar on our Benchtop PRO CNC Machine.
Fair Warning: While Jeff and I both like to design and make things, neither of us are instrument designers, luthier's, etc. This project is primarily intended for education, personal enjoyment, and customization & improvement. That is to say, if you'd like to carve-up a $300 piece of wood using this project, you might want to start with cheaper wood and make sure you like the setup first!
The Fusion 360 design file and CAM sources (and write-up) are posted on our 3D Sculpted Guitar Thingiverse project
Jeff and I made several videos to outline the design, CAM programming, and CNC process we followed. The rest of the videos are available on our 3D Sculpted Guitar series playlist

Happy National Robotics Week everyone!
