Postprocessor for Maho700 with phillips 432 CNC controller

HelloI am still new in the field of CNC, and currently I am contributing with more experienced engineers to renew an old maho 700to be ready again tobe functional. My question is: The normal procedure to generate a gcode using cad program (solidworks for example), starts with having the cad model and then generate the gcode the cam software (like solidcam for example) , with the aid of postprocessor of the machine that will run this gcode. the question, what will be the procedure with the maho 700? I found already 5 files related to post processor named :"Maho mh500 c 432_18.cgd", "Maho mh500 c 432_18.doc", "Maho mh500 c 432_18.mcp", "Maho mh500 c 432_18.mmc" , and "Maho mh500 c 432_18.mxt". how to use them with solidcam? does solidcam accept these files? if not, what I need to do so the gcode generated is fully integrated with our Maho 700 ?thanks

which version of solidcam do U use?
To generate a toolpath You need a machine definition files (so called preprocessor) in older version it was .MAC file, after 2011 It is .PRP and .VMID file
To generate gcode from toolpart You need a post processor for the same machine this is .GPP file. They all are stored (by default) in GPPTOOL folder.

the version of solidcam 2014 is used. so now this means that .prp and .vmid are the files related to the preprocessor, and the .gpp are related to postprocessor.
how can Maho700 be used and integrated with solidcam 2014? or there is another method using solidcam 2014 to make pre and post processors for maho700 ?

    thanks

You can use VMID file to define Your machine. It'll be lot easier if You find similar machine and then tune up the gpp file to create proper program file.
