Wondering if it is possible to change the Program numbers using the post processor. I am using V27 on a Haas VF-2. The work I do is usually requires multiple set-ups and I prefer using a separate drawing and program for each set-up. Here is an example of what the post processor is generating and what I prefer it to generate on the Title block.

Current Output

Title block Set-up #1: O1 (1-L~H PISTON J09TG00801.TXT)

Title block Set-up #2: O1 (2-L~H PISTON J09TG00801.TXT)

Title block Set-up #3: O1 (3-L~H PISTON J09TG00801.TXT)



Preferred Output

Title block Set-up #1: O00001 (1-L~H PISTON J09TG00801.TXT)

Title block Set-up #2: O00002 (2-L~H PISTON J09TG00801.TXT)

Title block Set-up #3: O00003 (3-L~H PISTON J09TG00801.TXT)

My problem is when I load Set-up #2 program and/or #3 program, because of the O1 it overwrites the program at the machine.

Zip up your PP and upload it here and we will have a look at it for you

If you are using a new Drawing and Program for each job have you tried changing the program number in the "Milling Job >Current Settings > Posting" area ?

If you are referring to Machine setups then you can edit the name/number in the CAM Tree.
