Greetings,

We’ve set up a Multicam CNC router with a CS-Labs
CSMIO-IPS motion controller using Mach3.

It is a completely successful upgrade with one
exception—X axis will not home.

Z axis homes.

Y axis homes.

The LED indicator on the CSMIO-IPS lights when
the X axis home is tripped.

The LED light on the Mach3 diagnostics screen
lights when the home is tripped.

The gantry moves toward the home switch but
consistently overshoots it. All LEDs signal that
they are tripped but the gantry just keeps going.

I suspect it is a slave axis issue. We have the X axis
slaved with the A axis.

Following a post on CNC Zone, we attempted to
change the Reference Home button code in
Screen Designer as per a recommendation by
Art Fenerty.

We changed it to:

> DoButton( 24 )
> DoButton( 23)
> RefCombination( 9 )

There was no change.

We have also tried different input terminals for the
Home switch. Again, no change.

We tried different sensors PNP, NPN, and just
a simple contact closure. Same result. Movement
continues after the switch is tripped.

We deleted our complete Mach3 folder, re-installed
the most current Mach3, and re-installed the most
currently CS-MIO firmware and plug in.

Still no change. X ignores the tripped switch and
just keeps on going.

This is the only issue with this upgrade but it is
obviously a significant one because we cannot
get our machine coordinates.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
