Unhappy Enable light won't light up on my KG-4925

I have had K2 CNC's KG-4925 for a few years and lightly used it without problems. I always felt it quite reliable until now when the (green) enable light (next to the big red emergency push button) doesn't light up and therefore I could not get the CNC to move at all.

I know very little about how the setup was or the KMotion codes. I always just followed the simple operating instruction given at the time of purchase. So I do not know how to locate the problem (hardware or software) or where to start looking for assistance. Anyone could advise or help? I am in Northern California. Thanks.
