    Kflop Step/Dir setup for SGDA-XXAP drive

    New to Dynomtion. I want to control SGDA-XXAP drive using Step/Dir signals from Kflop. The drive and motor comb. work well under PC control.
    I have tried now for a few days and i am not able to get the motor to turn utillizing Step Response tab.
    I have uploaded the example Motor templates, No Dice. I've tried varying pullup Resitors, and other Parameters.
    Neededing information regarding this setup including any doccument references.

    Thank you

    Hello i am Euge from Spain and this is my first post, i used too yaskawa motors in a few of my machines, i used with other board (smoothstepper with c25 breakoutboard) work really well (yaskawa sgda03-ap about 18 years old) well
    In this case you must put a resistir in pulse+ with 180ohm value (this put the yaskawa manual) c25 bob used a ttl +5v signal with ground common
    I hope helpful

    Thank you for your fast response.
    Did you have to make any changes to FPGA(STEP_PULSE_LENGTH_ADD) = ?
    Also, would you recommend the addition of using konnect with the kflop?

    Now i dont know what you means with steppulselenghtadd but i think the kflop board may have a breakoutboard of signals (octocoupler), in dynamotion web you will see this board conection or also in cnc4pc have any breakoutboard kflop compatible, i hope helful ;-)

    FPGA(STEP_PULSE_LENGTH_ADD)
    This is C program code for changing pulse width ect,
    Example.
    #include "KMotionDef.h"

    main()
    {
    // address of 6 bit pulse length 0-63= # 16.666MHz clocks,
    // bit6 muxes generators 4-7 from JP7 to JP4 and JP6,
    // bit7 reverses polarity

    // Geckos work well with this and "open collector" outputs

    FPGA(STEP_PULSE_LENGTH_ADD) = 0x80 + 32; // set inverted and to 2us
    }

    I'm up and running. Must of had tunnel vision. Was looking at the schematics and not seeing the whole picture.
