Ive had this machine a few years now and do 90 percent of my programming in mazatrol, on occasion I will use Bobcad if i have any 3d work to do. My frustration is that i cannot toolchange through eia. I have tried it many different ways with no result. I can toolchange through mdi by inputting t1 then cycle start or m6t1m6 cycle start, or using the hot keys. Neither of these methods work for me in eia, the tool chain runs and finds the tool but the machine remains still and will not go to the toolchange position then it errors out. Ive contacted mazak on several occasions and have banged my head against the wall for hours trying to figure it out.

THe machine is a mtv-515 cat 50
using usb hub from calmotion to transfer programs
bobcad ver. 27 with predator cnc editor
Machine has less memory than I do so I am trying to run eia programs through drip feed

When programming in EIA on Mazatrol M32 and Mplus controls, my tool changes would alarm out until I stopped using the M06 command. I would just call the tool IE T6, T4, etc... hope this helps.
