i figured out what i was doing wrong....lets just say regen toolpath was beimg overlooked... so im moving on to setting up for probing using an isolated probe i believe its called/.// i also will be setting up auto tool zero at a later date


i really want to be able to touch off x and y accurately
can someone direct me to a download of hoss's probe set... or if someone has a good suggestion im game... hoss's looked great but im having a hard time finding a download../

also do i need to change screen sets...i really dont want too.. thanks fellas

Yes you change the screenset but one of them only modifies one page from the normal screenset.

What ver. of Mach are you using for your touch screen. Mach no longer has an archive of past version's. I guess Mach 4 takes precedence now.

You can still get the older versions. On the same page as Hoss linked to, select the FTP tab and then click on the button called FTP archive. There you will find a lot of older versions.

Thanks' for that. I didn't know that. I 'HAD' a Stable ver but lost it upgrading to 43.66 which will not run for me. Now to find what I had.......

im using the latest version 3.043.066... windows 7 .. my touchscreen works great... although i think ill be ditching to have the port for a camera imalmost out of usb ports only the two in front left... i may have to add an epxansion..

What's your take on the mach 4? I have not used either one. I am doing a lms 3990 conversion with cncfusion.
I don't know enough about any of the mach's to know which platform to try to get onto. As a learning noob some say mach 3 has plenty of plug ins etc. But seems it might be worth learning the new technology and pioneering some things in it.
