    display wiring diagram

    Hi,

    I have the HY-JK02-M board and i'm missing the wiring diagram for a 3 axis display, it should be a 9 to 9 pin cable but there are some crossings in the cable. Does anyone have the wiring diagram for me ?

    Picture of the board:

    Hi Dappie

    Do you have the connections for your 3 axis display ?

    I'm not sure if this helps

    I have a note for the 4 axis display showing the center wire as enable

    then 4 step inputs on one side of the enable input and the direction inputs on the other

    I've not been able to verify if its
    gnd , 4 step inputs ,enable , 4 direction inputs and the +5V or
    gnd , 4 direction inputs ,enable , 4 step inputs and the +5V

    (the connections are for 1 to 1 connection to a 3 , 4 or 5 axis
    TB6560 stepper driver board)

    the breakout board appears to have on the three white display connectors
    wired in parallel

    starting with :----
    1 , +5V nearest to the 15 way D-type connector
    2 , GND / 0V next
    3 enable
    then
    4 & 5 = step & direction for one axis
    6 & 7 = step & direction for the next axis ..... etc

    at the moment I don't have the info of which pair of connections are for
    any specific axis or if the step and direction signals are in the same order
    for all axis

    display wiring diagram

    Hi John,

    Thanks for your message, it helpt a lot.
    This is how i finaly made the connection:

    Display --- Board
    1 o---------o 9 (9 +5 Volt)
    2 o---------o 8 (ground)
    3 o---------o 7 (enable)
    4 o---------o 1 X (step & direction)
    5 o---------o 2 X (step & direction)
    6 o---------o 3 Y (step & direction)
    7 o---------o 4 Y (step & direction)
    8 o---------o 5 Z (step & direction)
    9 o---------o 6 Z (step & direction)

    Again, thanks for pointing me in the right direction :-)

    Hello,

    I have tried connect display module for this kind board. Unfortunatly connecting wiring with this sequence are wrong for me. Do you have another idea how connect wiring from display to board?

    Thanks

    Re: display wiring diagram

    I know this is a very old thread but I bought a three axis DRO for my cheap Chinese HY-JK02-M display a while back and I have finally got around to fitting it. It comes with a 9-pin connector - which connects to the BOB - but it, although the display switches on, it won't work when plugged in. With a bit of fiddling around with a signal generator, I have finally worked out the wiring of the display. Can anyone confirm the pin functions for the display connector? (i.e. which way round the step and direction pins are - before I have to try and borrow a 'scope?)

    I have worked out that my 3-Axis display board has the following (highly logical!!) connections;

    1---->+5v
    2---->GND
    3---->Z_STEP
    4---->Z_DIR
    5---->Y_DIR
    6---->Y_STEP
    7---->X_DIR
    8---->ENABLE
    9---->X_STEP

    The three display connectors on the BOB are apparently wired in parallel and Pin 1 is +5v and Pin 2 is GND and pin 3 is ENABLE (according to previous post).

    Has anyone got a record of which pins are XS/XD, YS,YD and ZS/ZD for the display connectors, please?

    Many thanks

    John
