i have problem in puma 10s cnc lathe machine.
it has no parameters, please help me to get its parameters,
is it possible to restore it from the eproms??

Did you check for the Blue Book, inside the electrical cabinet's door?


If it is not there, what is your control model and machine's serial number?

it is not available, the controller is o-tc, the serial number is ps100701

Attached is a generic Puma 10 with 0TC control.

It is a STARTING PONT, it is likely that you will need to "tweak" it to get it to function correctly.

If you don't know how to enter these, I recommend that you hire a trained technician to do it.

This is the beginning of a LONG PROCESS that needs a skilled CNC Technician to make it work correctly.

"Missing parameters" does not let your machine run, but WRONG PARAMETERS can crash it and damage it.

i am engineer, and will be careful, i know how to enter the parameters, will makesure that all the speeds rate are to the minimum and make sure the emergency button is always ready, i will check everything manually, like the distantces , limites, directions, etc ...
if you have more notes or advices please send them to me.

I found a "2-axis Generic" parameter list for a 0T control that has many machine models, one of them is a 10S

I have service manual that I can send out FOR MODERN MACHINES
(These manuals have no part numbers and therefor are free to send. I do not have any for your model.)


The only information available on older machines were provided by the manuals that shipped with the machine.
(These manuals have part numbers and are for sale through your local Doosan Dealer.)

Contact your local Doosan Dealer and provide the Machine model and full Serial# and they can order any or all of the following manuals:
Electrical Diagram
Parts Manual
Operation Manual
Instruction Manual (maintenance)
Safety Procedures (useless, as it is all "common knowledge" with sections on "Don't bypass Safety Devices" and "Don't Leave Hand-Tools Inside the Machine"...)

In the back pocket of the electrical cabinet WAS a document showing all the Fanuc items (I can't pull up a list, because it is not recorded as being sold in the US)
1. Locate this document.

Barring that, these are the only ideas I have:
2. Have someone who has the serial number (whoever sold it originally) get the information from Doosan Korea.
3. Try to find the information from Fanuc, directly. (Maybe if you send pictures and measurements of the spindle motor to someone at Fanuc then they might be able to tell you more.)

If you are referring to the Long procedure posted by nautomation...The procedure would wipe all parameters and cause you to start from nothing.

If the file is corrupted, it would delete all corrupted parameters and allow a fresh start.

I DO NOT recommend doing this unless absolutely necessary.

It is the equivalent of "burning down your house to get rid of a spider".


Even after wiping the parameters, you will still need the correct values to enter.

i got these parameters from dossan korea, i i have entered the motor model and apply the auto set process, i also entered the rest of parameters. i got not ready alarm. now, how can i determine if the problem still in the parameters, since i didn't enter the d030x group.
so, what is the next?
