It all started as a capstone University project gone rouge. We set out to make the cheapest tool changer possible. Just last month, we successfully changed tools in a Bosch wood router without the use of tool holders or modifications to the spindle. I'm looking for feedback on such a device. I think it has huge potential for small businesses and DIY hobbyists looking to make income from their machines. The tool changer brings true autonomy to CNC routers without the big ticket price associated with ATC units.
