Hi all,
I am new to these forums and was hoping this might be the place to get some help on an issue I am having with my chinese laser.
I have a 60 watt 600x900 laser from Gweike that has been running great for 3 years. Control card is MPC 6525. Recently I replaced the pc that runs the laser. I installed LaserCut 5.3 etc and it seemed as though everything was going to run smoothly on the new computer.

Problem is when I upload a job to the laser from LaserCut and press start, the head moves to start the job and just hangs there, laser firing in one spot. If I hit "Test" it will contour the job fine.

Also, when going to move the head or even the z axis I will tap the arrow once but the head or table will just keep moving until I power off the machine.

Frustrated, I connected the old computer back up and it doesn't work on that now either.

Anyone have any ideas on how I can get up and running again??

not sure about this controller but on my cnc if you change a computer you have to reinstall the firmware

Do you know where I could download the firmware for MPC6525?

I tried the rabbit laser site, but the files for my card seem to be missing.

Did you get a usb drive with the unit

Yes, I got a usb dongle and a software cd. Lasercut seems to be functioning as normal. Dongle works. Have tried hitting "Download CNFG" many times. Machine beeps but nothing changes.

I can send jobs through and I know the machine has received the file.

I have read that there is actual firmware you can load on a usb and plug directly into motion card, but unfortunately I can't find it for the mpc6525.

Anyone know about this?

I just typed mpc6525 firmware into Google and found it right away!

Very glad to hear you that you use our machine at three years. I think you can serch on our website, there are have a patrs that you can download our machine control system.
