I'm sure this pretty basic stuff but I am very new to the CNC world.

I have a G0704 I'm converting.

I have 2 nema 23 570ozin 3.5A and 1 nema 34 906ozin 6.1A

All motors have 8 wires.

B,R,BR,OR,GR,BL,WH,YEL.

My question is which wires do I use?

I have searched and everything I find is confusing some say tie the 8 wires together in a specific order and some say just use 4 wires.

4 lead Bipolar connection
8 lead Bipolar series connection
8 lead Bipolar parallel connection
8 lead unipolar connection

Not sure which one to go with.

Bipolar parallel is what I would do.

A+: Red/Blu

A-: Yell/Blk

B+: WHT/BRN

B-: OR/GRN

As "basic" as it is. We have all been there, asked that. And still be confused sometimes. Good advice above.

Just as I say that I see you are using a 906/6.1 amp. What are you using for the driver?

I'm using the KL-8060

not knowing that much when I bought the KL8060. I am going to upgrade to the digital driver after I get it up and running.
