Post How to add a flow sensor to a K40

    Hi,

I have been looking high and low, but cannot find a simple solution to add a flow sensor to my K40.

This is th flow sensor i got:

Can someone point me to a good and simple solution?
I rather not involve arduino's and such if possible...

    thanks!

I was able to convert an eBay flow switch for use on a laser.

NEW! THOMAS PRODUCTS INC. FLOW SWITCH 2100

    Search for the above title.
It is designed to close a switch at 1.5 gpm. I was able to get it to work on a small water pump by removing its internal spring. So it turns on with any flow. Wire it to your ps on the water sense circuit.
Other flow switches might also work as long as it's a simple switch.

ok, but what about the sensor I have. Its putting out a pwm signal, and I am looking for some sort of schematic of how to put this in my laser power chain.
